Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Relicrypt, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

Relicrypt is a platform for creating, collecting, and sharing AI-generated text artifacts called “relics.” Users compose prompts from existing relics, generate new relics using AI models, and can publish or copy relics from other users.

3. Accounts

You must be at least 13 years of age to use Relicrypt, and at least 18 years of age to make mana purchases. You must create an account to use most features. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must provide a valid email address and choose a unique username. Relicrypt reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Mana and Purchases

Mana is a virtual currency used to generate and copy relics. Mana is purchased with real currency through Stripe. All mana purchases are final and non-refundable except as required by applicable law. Mana has no cash value, cannot be exchanged for real currency, and cannot be transferred between accounts except through the copy mechanism described below.

Generating a relic costs mana based on the maximum token length you select. If the AI model does not produce a valid relic (i.e., no separator is found within the token limit), the mana is still consumed. Relics that fail automated moderation are not charged. Moderators may delete relics that violate site rules, in which case the generation cost is refunded.

Copying a public relic costs half the original generation cost (rounded up, minimum 1 mana). The mana paid to copy a relic is credited to the original finder. When you earn mana through copies, that mana is added to your balance and is subject to the same terms as purchased mana.

Relicrypt reserves the right to modify mana pricing, package offerings, and the mana economy at any time. Unused mana is forfeited if your account is deleted or terminated.

5. Content and Relics

Relics are generated by AI models and may not always produce desirable or appropriate content. The output of AI models is inherently unpredictable. Relicrypt employs automated moderation but does not guarantee that all content will be suitable for all audiences. You are responsible for the compositions you create and the relics you choose to publish.

By publishing a relic, you consent to other users copying it at half the original mana cost. Copied relics retain lineage information pointing to the original relic and its finder. You may unpublish a relic at any time, but copies already made will remain in the copier's vault. Copied relics cannot be re-published or copied further.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to circumvent mana costs or exploit the generation system.
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users.
• Use automated tools to scrape content or abuse API endpoints.
• Impersonate another person or create misleading accounts.

7. Intellectual Property

Relics are generated by third-party AI models. AI-generated content may not be eligible for copyright protection under current law. Relicrypt makes no representations regarding your ownership rights over generated relics. Relicrypt does not claim ownership of relics you generate.

By using the service, you grant Relicrypt a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, store, and distribute your public relics as part of the platform's normal operation, including displaying them in public feeds and allowing other users to copy them.

8. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time through the Settings menu. Account deletion is permanent and will remove your profile, compositions, collections, and follow relationships. Relics you generated will be anonymized but may remain visible if they were public. Unused mana is forfeited upon account deletion.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Relicrypt is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uptime, data preservation, the quality of AI-generated content, or the availability of any particular AI model. Generation may fail, produce no output, or produce undesirable content. Mana spent on failed generations (where no separator is found) is not refunded.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Relicrypt shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of mana, loss of data, or inability to access the platform.

10. Changes to Terms

Relicrypt may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.
